The best built and longest lasting HVAC equipment is no better than the cheapest if it is not installed properly. Many HVAC professionals agree that the installation and maintenance of your heating and cooling system is just as important, if not more so, than the brand name it carries. With us, we believe in quality workmanship and quality products each and every time! All of our installations come with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee!
Helping you decide on the most efficient, economical and reliable heating & cooling system for your home...We evaluate the size of your home, the age of your home, it's construction and insulation, the way you use your home and the outdoor climate.
We make sure that your new furnace, boiler, heat pump or air conditioner is sized to fit your home. Proper heating equipment sizing is important. Over sized furnaces and heating systems cost more to install and run, have more maintenance problems, and a shorter equipment life. A properly sized heating system will provide you with the best comfort control at the lowest operating cost. Some contractors just replace an old heating system with the same size, or even worse - guess.
Many existing heating systems are over sized, resulting in too much wasted energy! For maximum efficiency, a new heating system should not be more than 25% larger than your peak heating needs. Do not assume that the system you are replacing is the right size for your home. Many existing furnaces are not properly sized or are so inefficient that a smaller and more efficient furnace would be the best choice. When necessary we perform load calculations to help determine the right size. A good contractor will not determine the equipment size by square footage or previous system size alone. Proper equipment sizing is also based on your home's heat loss during cold weather and heat gain during warm weather.
Proper airflow is also essential. Poor airflow can significantly increase operating costs and shorten equipment life. Poor airflow can also result in poor comfort control and indoor air quality. Leaks in the return air ducts can bring unfiltered air into your home from the basement, crawlspace, or attic.
We will inspect your ductwork and address any ductwork issues you may have. Any necessary duct sealing will be done using mastic, metal backed tape and mastic sealer. We will advise you of any duct work repairs or modifications that would be necessary. On occasion additional supply ducts or return air may be necessary. Any duct work in unconditioned spaces should be insulated. Studies have shown that many homes lose substantial amounts of their system's heating and cooling capacity from duct leakage and thermal losses due to poorly insulated ducts. Proper sealing and insulation will cut those losses. We seal and insulate all new ductwork.
We highly recommend choosing an EnergyStar qualified heating system along with an EnergyStar installation.
