"You chose the correct furnace size. (Several other installers chose the incorrect size.) The workmanship was very good and thorough. The furnace is keeping the house at the exact temperature it is set at, the furnace is very quiet. The work area was left spotless. All the workers were very easy to work with and knew their jobs very well, they were definitely professional and courteous. You took care of the furnace installation, removal of the old furnace and oil tank and also removed unusable a/c and miscellaneous sheet metal from a previous wood stove installation. Mike kindly accepted me watching the whole process, and sometimes even adding a helping hand. He did not even charge me an extra fee for my assistance! :) There were unexpected issues that needed attention to complete the installation and Mike and his crew addressed them immediately and made a quick and efficient solution to them. Nothing stopped them from completing an excellent installation on time with no excuses. My only thought is that you and your crews most valuable asset is your mental attitude, to do the best that you know how and do whatever it takes to get the job done. "We live in a colonial built in colonial times, hence the home is not as well insulated as new construction. Our home had a FHW/oil system installed about 40 years ago. It was converted to a gas burner about 15-20 years ago. Probably only 60% AFUE at best. We made the decision to take advantage of the Federal Tax Credit and gas company rebate. After a couple of months and seeing the difference with the 95% AFUE Burnham Alpine boiler and SuperStor IHW, it is the best decision we've made as homeowners. During January 2010 compared to January 2009, we saved 50%. We had conservatively estimated 30%. Unbelievable! Mike and his sons worked very efficiently. The installation is very compact and clean, taking up one corner of our basement. Mike takes great pride in his work and will only produce the highest quality system."
